The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is the largest tourism event each year in Oklahoma. The event attracts over 25,000 runners each year from around the world to compete in a variety of races from a 5k to a Boston qualifying marathon. The marathon is a major piece of honoring the survivors and those who lost their lives in the tragic 1995 OKC Bombing. 2020 marked a major year in the marathon’s tenure as it was able to celebrate it’s 20th anniversary. Studio Flight had the opportunity to tell the story behind why we run.
